People tend to believe everything they read bone. Normal life. VonMessa here thinks FW is taken seriously.. To me it isn't sorry if I posted something that you don't like over there. Why even bring it up to a whole different place? I dont even know who Zacherof is.. From what I've gathered since he has been posting here is a bunch of non sense and what I would call increasing his post count. :rolleyes
I have no idea how you are trying to tie anything to FW
His apology: "It was never my intention to desecrate the flag of the United States of America. I was shooting a video for a song off my album entitled "God Bless Amerika". The clip that surfaced on the Internet was a camera trick clip that revealed that behind the American Flag was the Hoods of America. In the final edit of the video you will see the flag fall to reveal what is behind it but will never see it on the ground.
The flag was touching the ground from the very beginning. That is itself is disrespectful to our flag
The guy holding the flag dropped it intentionally. Not an accident.
The dropping of the flag is part of the video and supposedly an interjection of "drama" to show the "hoods" of America hiding behind the flag. Intentionally dropping, or in this case having one of your crew drop the flag, is just as disrespectful to the flag as stepping or dancing on it. Once it touched the ground, it was disrespected and anything that happened afterwards was just added insult.
He knew the flag was going to be dropped. He could have stepped forward because he was lip-syncing for the video shoot and had no excuse of "i needed to be close to the microphone" to use as a defense from being vilified.
0:04 He clearly looks down.
0:14 He clearly looks down again
There are a bunch of occasions where he is clearly aware that he is stepping on the flag. There is no way that anyone can convince me to believe anything contrary to what I witnessed with my own eyes. The are other clips of this video, from other angles as well that prove this.
Setting aside the standard practices for respecting the US flag, or his lack of them, his "apology" was pitiful and completely full of horse crap.
My response had nothing to do with FW, race or anything personal towards you, as an individual, beyond your defending him because of his "apology"
It was more like PR damage control than an apology. I have a hard time accepting an apology from someone that had every intention of dropping the flag on ground while spewing lyrics that are meant to vilify America, while using the same name of a song that was originally written to praise America. If you choose to believe that he was sincere, I have a bridge in New York that I will sell you...
I find it ironic that anyone that lives a lifestyle available to them
because of the freedoms we enjoy here, can sleep at night by making a living by bashing the very same place but, that is one of the freedoms that are defended here, whether I agree with it or not.
I'm just calling out his apology as crap.
