Thanks,

I will help myself if I find one that takes my fancy.  I have put my first up for December.  I will see how that goes.

One inaccuracy I noted is that you state the Bf 109G-2 carried machine guns in the wing. It never did so, the machine guns were mounted in the cowl.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

You are right, I have rectified this with the correct loadout.

Greetings guys,

I have added something a little new and I thought I would like you guys to give me some feedback.  I have made this T-shirt available through my website on the Bf 109 page:http://www.warintheskies.com/aircraft/Bf109.html on the left side under Sazzle. Click on the Bf109 Tshirt which takes you to my page at Sazzle and you can edit your own text on the Tshirt, personalising it for you.  If there is enough interest, I will do personalised images for anyone asking.

Please have a look and see what you think.

Thanks

I have also created a website for aircraft of World War 2.  You can find the site at www.warintheskies.com

Crikey mate, that's a cracker of a site!  :aok  But jeez fella, why aren't ya flyin' the Aussie flag?  :rock  The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation designed and built that little ripper of a plane, the Boomerang.  :airplane:

A few other inaccuracies I noted is that you state the K4 uses the DB 605A (S/C/M), when it used the DB 605DM on early models, with the most common engine being the 605DC engine.

Also, the K-4 used the same Erla-haube canopy as seen on the G-6 onward.

Also, no 190's were sent to North Afrika, as far as I can recall.

Weren't the 190's found unsuitable to combat in North Afrika due to engine overheating?

I have replaced all expanded 3views with new color 3 views. Have a look at the combat colors they flew in.

I have rechecked.  Various sources say similar information, however, at that time of the war, a lack of raw material(aluminium), factory bombing and field modifications combined with inaccurate records make it difficult at best.  Early K-4's were powered by the DB 605AS engines, however, my resources do not state how long they were used until the redesign was incorporated for the DB 605D engines(availablity?) and sources indicate that around 1,600 K-4's were delivered.  The 'Galland Hood' was made to suit the G-6, however was more incorporated into the G-14 and G-10, whereas it was standard on the K-4.

I hope this helps clear things up.
