I'll never understand how people think a cartoon airplane formation honors people that died in real wars.
If you want to honor them do something real in their honor. Like take gifts to a VA hospital or take
flags and place them on the graves of veterans. Or do something for your community in their honor.
Like organizing a park cleanup or cematary cleanup. Sitting on your arse playing the same game you
play day after day but saying your doing it for them on this one day seems a bit hollow and a cop out to me.
Truth. Not only that, but it shows that even in your "honor," you're really just doing something you enjoy for your own selfishness. If you really wanted to show some respect, you could cancel your subscription for a month or two and use the money saved to do something for the deceased's family or donate it to a cause that they supported or were involved in - you know, actually
honor them. Of course, 99% of those who actually participate in memorial flights are never going to do this, because all they understand is playing a game day after day.
