Thanks everyone for coming out to the event, whether for a one hour shift, 12 hour stretch or anything in between.  That was a great deal of fun.

Absolutely insane guys.

<S> to Roc and Nef for putting this together.

And all the others (looks at OddballCAF).  I only managed to make one frame, but it was a rush.  Great idea, and a lot of work making it happen.

To the CMs and everyone else that helped put this together; . . . . what can I say except THANK YOU.

a special ending point, for me, was the way the clouds started to change color at the very end, as the sun was setting. It was relaxing. Like that feeling you have at the end of the day, when and your wife/girlfriend  are enjoying a drink at sunset.

I thought the overall visual was very conducive to a gentle slowdown of the adrenaline and emotion experienced, at the end of a 12 scenario.

My compliments, nice touch.  :aok

P.S. Had a ball. When's the next one with P38s in it ?

So, context is a good thing.  "Gawd my fingers are killing me and my butt is numb!!"  Causes a great many lifted eyebrows unless one understands the grip of a joystick and throttle while sitting for 12 hours.

Don't ask, but ya, had to explain the comment while walking down the hall.

Was awesome!

So few events with mossies in them - and we kicked butt! :)

Big thankyou to the organizers  :salute

Also, the clouds were absolutely great! I wish we had more clouds in the MA and other events.

I loved it !

Dodging P47 attacks at 33k, HO'ing buffs, clouds, winter terrain, good scenario setup !

Thanks to JG26 for borrowing their 190A5's, and to all organizers, and Pilots of both sides.

I still wonder who that single low Mossie I chased from N of Paris until close of french coastline was  :salute

Well, against all the odds, I actually stayed the whole course!  Something kept me going for "just one more" until I finally thought, "well, I've come this far, might as well continue!"  Of course I hadn't factored in RTBing and landing so it was about another half-hour after the event ended before I could finally say, "Right, I'm off to bed!" and leave, making my way upstairs as it was getting light outside.  At least on that last run I finally got the manual calibration right and hit a few targets!  :D

Thanks to Nef and ROC, and everyone involved, for making this a fantastic event!       :salute

Well done Flossy. It was an absolute blast wasn't it?

My sodding internet went down just before the second to last spawn window so I missed the end  :(.

Lasted just about to end after  the last Paris run that we got out butts handed to us.  Super fun.

Special thanks to Slipknot and Beefcake for running those smooth, well thought out, bomber runs.

Thanks Swoop, indeed it was!  Sorry to hear your Internet Provider let you down again, causing you to miss the end  :(  Think I'd be looking for a new supplier!   :old:

Randy, we did have another run to Paris in the last window, this time with P38 escorts all the way, and managed to inflict some damage to the strats this time with minimum opposition.  :D  Thanks for letting me ride with you on your RTB from Paris after I was shot down before I could drop any bombs.  I think that was the longest time I spent not actually in the pilot's seat myself.  I had very little time on the ground, usually landing minutes before taking off again.   :aok

Glad to have you as gunner anytime Flossy.  Sorry I missed the last Paris run.  Sounds like it ended on a good note.

Was a great time, thanks for all the hard work putting together and running the event!

Hat tip to Del, he flew the whole thing, got 10 kills and didn't die, awesome job.

Then there's Corky, the victim of friendly fire... Twice...

 :rofl  :cry
