If OSU was a 1 loss team they would be in. That loss to Iowa killed them. A two loss team has no business in the playoff. Now as for Alabama they generally play a cake walk schedule except for their sec division games, the other division is very weak and it needs balanced out IMO.

I think we will see a Clemson vs Oklahoma national title game. But Georgia is the true wildcard, depends on which team shows up.

A team that lost the last game of the regular season and NOT play in the conference championship should not go in the CFC too.  Perhaps UCF should have gone.

Neither way, Clemson is the only true team to win it.

Two quarterbacks from Michigan are transferring out of the U of M according to today's sports.  Why?

For next year, Michigan has a lot of quarterbacks.  Only one of them will be picked to be the main one.

I suspect that Speight and Malzone knew that they would be not be the main quarterback next year.  If they want to play, they need to transfer.

Next year, Michigan has Brandon Peters (put in this year after Speight and O'Korn and did OK enough to be considered for starter, but not a lock), Dylan McCaffrey (#1 ranked pro-passer in his recruiting class) and new recruits Joe Milton (4-star recruit) and Kevin Doyle.  There is also the possibility that Shea Patterson (5-star recruit who went to Ole Miss) will transfer to Michigan.

Going into this year, Michigan was an unknown with almost no starters returning.  People were thinking they'd end up 9-3 or 8-4, losing at least to Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Penn State.  It turned out that the defense was great, but the offense was not and was plagued with injuries (starting QB, backup QB, best WR, best RB, another WR, another RB, TE, OT, OG).  Even so, they weren't horrible on offense.  They played pretty decent games against Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin (although not well against Penn State).  They ended up 8-4.

I think they'll be better next year.  Will they beat Ohio State next year?  Of course!  (Well, I like to have a positive attitude.)  :aok

All four teams in it are great teams.

I would have preferred Ohio State in there because I'm a Big 10 fan.  And if Ohio State were in instead of Alabama, it would not have been a horrible choice, because Ohio State is great, too.

But it's hard to have 2-loss team in there, even a great one, and even though that loss to Iowa was a fluke.

Ohio State is in a game vs. another team sort of like them:  a great team but with 2 losses instead of 1 -- USC.

Ohio State will need to play well to beat them.  Go, Ohio State!

Will Ohio State beat USC?  Go Buckeyes!
Will Wisconsin beat Miami?  Go Badgers!
Will Penn State beat Washington?  Go Huskies!
Will Michigan State beat Washington State?  I'll root for Spartans, but I really like Luke Falk, so I will be happy however it goes.

Miami is highly variable.  Sometimes they are really good, sometimes not.  I think Wisconsin has a good change to win it, but it is a home game for Miami.

I am glad OSU didn't get picked in the final 4.  They didn't deserve it and instead of OSU getting crushed by Clemson, Alabama will.

If Wisconsin would have won the big ten we wouldn’t have a controversy, but they didn’t. I agree that Alabama didn’t deserve the spot based on strength of schedule, however you can’t put a two lose OSU team in above them either.

You forget about Bama? cmon guy, good ol boy system. Remember last year?????? Its not rocket science, its favoritism. Bamba is In just like ohio was last year. end of story.

Maybe USC or UCF should get in since they won thier conference championship.....and UFC undefeated.

Maybe they will get you excited and get your ratings but a cold chance in hell to get past their opinion.  To quote them this year between ohio and bama (your two not in consideration) "we watched bama all year and they are better"  .  This system reeks of B.S. and the "others" need not apply.  Too much money in power at the club.
