Last night on CraterMA, I almost didn't notice the evening, night, morning transition. Hitech seems to be working on it. Night now seems to be a variety of dusk.
I think Fess wants a game where the only activity is man and machine against man and machine with no automated interference, uneven odds or, extreme environmental changes. And everyone is waiting in line to fill his evening with ACM activity until he decides to log off. He pays his $14.95 like the rest of us and can dream. I've watched him close up in his P51 and he is very good at 1vs1 ACM, and seems to be only interested in that aspect of our game. Thursday night on my new terrain a player who likes similar types of action complained that there were too many fights going on, and all of the wrong kind of action. Now I'm confused, these forums used to burn with lamentations that all of the action had packed up and left no forwarding address.
When Fess posted this, nighttime was a very extreme environment change for a number of players including myself.
