Bring back night time!! Or at least even out the day and night!!!!

What you were referring to is a setting and not a bug. You can change the time to night time and then change the color of light to brighten up the night time but it's still a night sky.

And it makes the terrain appear sunlit?  Quite a setting!

Yup, it sure does. You can also change the color of light, sky, sun, ect. You can set the time to night and then change the color of light to a green color to make it appear your using night vision. Or set it to a daylight color and then you have a night sky but can see as if it's day.

Thats not what was changed.

There is a variable simply that determines the amount of after sunset and before sun rise that they system jumps.

With the current system sun rise and set must be computed just like in real life as the dates and position change.

Count me in the group that didn't mind night time at all.  As for those that didn't like it and complained, I will count them as the squeaky wheels that got heard.  And had their diapers changed.  And behinds powdered.
