Sounds like a QAnon or III%er idiocy.
You have a right to risk your own life by not wearing a mask, if you believe it's a hoax, please DON'T wear one, we don't need you.
You DON'T have a right to put MY life at risk by not wearing a mask. Your rights end at MY nose, as far as my life goes.
This CRAPOLA about AMERKA and other TRASH are the work of those who wish to see our country fail.
The next election is going to fix that.

I wear a mask in public and of course at work (RN) at all times, maybe with the exception of throwing a potentially contaminated one in the garbage and donning a new one...

I’m assuming the “you and your” you’re using is general for everyone...?
They're casting their bait over there, see?

Went on vacation end of June. Did all the Social distancing and wore a mask like I was supposed to. Came Home 4th of July weekend. Following week Had fever, muscle aches, and the absolute worst headache. Lasted approx four days with fever. Got tested first day of fever got test results 9 days later (negative)  :O. Went to the Dr the day before i got my test had a blood test done shows i had both anti-bodies and antigens in blood for Covid. Start feeling better day after I go to Dr start getting a pain in my side that goes up my back into my chest. Call ambulance go to hospital have a pulmonary embolism (Blood Clot) lower left lung. 3 day hospital stay. Come home on Friday feeling good. Go to dr for nasal swab for Covid test 1 week later it's positive another 2 week quarantine. Start Hydroxloriquine. after almost of 5 weeks of feeling like absolute pounded dog crap i finally feel like a normal person. I go back Monday for my 3 nasal swab test to find out if I am negative. Me and the wife got it together so we went through it side by side i got it worse.
I have a Buddy at work who caught it and i think he gave it to his parents who he lives with. they are now both in the hospital fighting for there life's. Had a gentleman at church who caught it who was a healthy mid-60's active who caught it that spent 5 weeks in the hospital who eventually succumb to Covid.
To those who don't think it is bad or not real I really hope you don't catch it because i can tell you i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It is terrible. just a story from someone who actually went through it.

Glad they caught the blood clot - same one took my mom at 51 in 1989

Have never said it is not very bad for some - I am at a higher than average risk with my medical though probably had it in early March with the wife

But for most others it is not

It is also a powerful weapon

So the tin-foil hatters will jump in and say "see you had a mask on and still got it!"
There are no guarantees in life.  If you are intelligent, you try and stack as many odds in your favor as possible.  But odds aren't guarantees, but at least you did what you could which over large population numbers will add up to a better national outcome.   IF I smoke 10 packs of cigarettes a day, my odds of getting lung cancer is higher.  If I don't smoke cigarettes it is lower.  I can still get lung cancer if I don't smoke, if I get an unlucky roll of the dice, but that doesn't invalidate the wisdom of not smoking.

I can not believe they are honestly contemplating sending kids back into school rooms this fall.  That seems insane to me.  While children have a lower mortality rate, they are finding many can have serious organ and tissue damage, some of which might be with them for life.  And they can certainly bring it home and spread it to other family members.

If they pack kids into classrooms this fall, I expect this thing to start going super-nova in Oct-Nov.

I will say as much as me and the wife tried to social distance especially at our hotel some people just wouldn't let us. This was true when it came to the elevators. Signs everywhere one family per elevator but there were only 4 elevators for 24 floors which was so dumb. We get on next thing you know it is packed with people. In that instance a mask wouldn't help anybody. We also went to the casino even though casinos were trying to do all the social distancing stuff i did play table games and was touching chips other people had touched.
We will never know where we actually caught it from and it doesn't matter. but here is something funny my wife is a mask hater and i have to force her to wear one and i have no problems putting one on as i could care less. i have had to wear far worse things for hours on end at work.

God bless you. But man, a hotel and casino during a pandemic without a hazmat suit would be dangerous. I don't think housekeeping is equipped to sanitize/sterilize for Covid.

That's how I feel about it Arlo it really isn't that big of a deal to me. I have had to wear face masks, Face shields, Safety glasses, and aprons for 12 hours at work in 100 degree heat with 100% humidity, wearing a mask for a little while won't hurt. My wife's biggest complaint is she wears glasses and the Southeast Texas Humidity plays Hell with fogging them up when she wears a mask.

I do wonder that since I have had Covid if I am going to have to get the Vaccine. I should be immune, now all I hear about is I should be donating blood so they can get the anti-bodies. Which I do plan on doing once i get my negative Test.

Noman, I think what they know about Covid is only about 1% of what they need to know in order to provide any real answers. It is possible that we will soon be taking vaccines for flu AND Covid on an annual basis, but first they have to come up with the first vaccine. Even then it's going to be a guessing game in consecutive years as to which strain they need to immunize against.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

They already are or are going in AZ and at least at Northwestern University.
It’s reckless in some ways, but most of these kids have been “at home” since at least April. Seems to be a Catch 22 at the moment, how long do parents wait for a solution?

"The ICU doctor, who is also an avid runner, masked up and set out for an 8-mile jog to work while monitoring his oxygen levels through a pulse oximeter -- a medical device that measures oxygen saturation in a person's red blood cells. Lawton said his oxygen level never fell below 98%. Any value above 95% is considered normal."

silly. the mask will not stop covid. even if you seal the edges, the virus will go through the material.  Sure would be nice if we talked about the truth, in place of what make us feel good.  Oh and of course, who t f is running 22 miles! Why are you not running 22 miles?

these types will never have respect for another human.  We get older, yet the selfish child remains.

cant wait for election day!

Not to mention this guy is in superb physical condition.  He’s an exception in comparison to the average person on the street.  More than likely, his results don’t reflect those of the average person.

I'm seeing confusion between physical fitness and how masks don't fuggin' kill you from wearing them under practically any condition for however long.
