Hmmmm are there air races still going?? I start my Airframe & Powerplant training in Feb. And after that I'm going to to OU and majoring in aeronautical engineering. I have been round drag cars
drag boats some SCCA trans am stuff. Basically I alot of raceing stuff. But always wanted to get into air races.. I ave read about the air races inthe 30's and was always interested by it.. Unlike the p38 post.. This I could really get into.. And would be badass to design build and fly a air racer! hehehe
Any info yall have would have would be a big help..
Oh can I use a CH product throttle with a sidewinder stick??

Go work on jets to pay the bills, go work on warbirds for the fun of it. 9 out of 10 of those mechanics at the air races are donating there time. And the ones getting paid dream about working for an airline. How do you make a million dollars with an old warbird? Well first you have to start with 2 million... :D
