State of Oregon does that to ya ;)

Either way, the INTENT of this post was a message to Hblair, saying "I was wrong by stating all BMW's have clear coats since 1993"...this Deja-ass steps in, so, Hblair,...

How about just saying that next time then Rip... instead of trying an "I now officially know more about it than you" aproach.

Besides... its HBlairs argument.  I'm simply not suprised at the outcome given all that was presented.

Sorry you don't agree that the whole thing was that one-sided... but that's for you and you're ego to deal with.

Was anybody else struck by the snobbish tone of the Beamer BBS?? LOL we're talking about a CAR, guys. Those bunch of irritating little yup-pups makes me want to start forcing BMWs off the road next time one tries to pass me. (j/k...I'm not evil) Hell would be having to endure that bunch of boorish snobs at a cocktail party for an evening. Oh- and Ripsnort has over three THOUSAND posts on THAT BBS!! Damn Rip, when do you work? Or eat? Or sleep??? What other BBS do you post on? Male Pattern Baldness BBS?? LOL Dude, sell that Beamer, buy a Taurus and a  10 year supply of Rogaine- you'll look better with hair in a Taurus than bald in a Beamer. Plus you'll save time by not having to post on those bbs.

"Seems our paint "expert" can't even read his own books (or the errors in them) Been sniffing too many paint fumes.

Detailers = 1, Paint dork = 0

And another thing, we aren't just "detailers" we are dyed in the wool BMW fanatics, we've probably forgotten more about BMWs then you've ever know. Go back to your Camero, grab your Budweiser, and turn your radio on to Nascar and CHILL!"

UNBELIVABLE!!! :mad:

Note that this amazinhunk owns the cheapest 3 series model...... :D

Man, did that thread get ugly...the pompous attitude (Deja, you might get along great there) in that thread pushed me over the edge to turn in my moderator status and delete the bookmark...bunch of A-holes.

I bought a new Taurus in 95 and we've put 180,000 miles on that car. Runs OK, too, and when it finally dies I'll buy another Taurus. Sorry for my negative tone, but snobs who think they're at the pinnacle of success because of the car they drive make me want to puke. I've been in business meetings and invariably it's the guy in the BMW or the Mercedes asking the guy in the Taurus or the Cavalier for financing. I'd rather drink a beer with Hblair and discuss NASCAR and boats than drink Chardonnay with those bunch of self-absorbed little turds discussing how wonderful they are.

Actually.. I don't like it there Rip.  You lasted much longer than I did.

The Mini forum seems pretty decent... though not many post there.  I guess You missed my reply to you there.

Its easy to get caught up in that mindset.  Someone posted a picture about Idiocy: Never underestimate the stupidity of groups of people.  People can sit around and be reassuring and reaffirming so much that they forget that there is more to things than their own little world covers.
