The F1 cars, astronaut figures, and McLaren M8B were on special sale. You have to either use the link I posted or "If you'd rather talk to an operator, call us toll-free at 1-800-222-3876 Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM. Be sure to mention code "CSA004" to get free shipping." I had trouble with the website losing items in the shopping cart so I phoned my order in. They also have a lot of airplane kits on sale, but I have too many airplane kits in my garage already.
Those F1 cars measure out to around 5 inches long, and make great surprise gifts for modelers young and old, particularly since they include everything you need to complete the kit: paint, brush, glue, decals, and kit (you'll need to supply your own knife). I plan on turning my 3 into a race diorama - their small size means they'll fit inside the typical plastic display case (along with landscaping and scenery) pretty well. For 99 cents, you can't go wrong.
The Accurate Miniatures M8B cars really kick butt on details and are certainly intended for experienced modellers. Accurate Miniatures worked hard on their engineering, and as a result they sort of cut their market appeal to only those who know what they're doing when building kits (and AM ended up going out of business - such as shame). It'll be a lot of work to do them right, but when they're finished, they'll look oh so good.
