So the other day my wife and I are getting our addiction to CNN satisfied when they show a sequence of video clips of the protestors. There was a rally at the USS Intrepid in NY to show support for the war, and then there's a scene zeroed in on one of the ship's gunports that shows two people unfurling a banner saying "Shame". At first I didn't think much about it - just another stupid anti-war banner - and then I thought (a) how did the museum officials let them through the turnstyles with that giant banner and (b) how did the cameraman know they were going to unfurl the banner right there, right then? I can't help but think that, at some level, it was staged.
