Dune, I do bacon and onions, then what ever is leftover from the night before(BBQ chicken, sausage, steak) all chopped up and then put the eggs into the frypan-camp souffle.

That was before I started taking medication for it. Tried the diet thing, didn't make a bit of a difference. Cursed by genetics. Haven't had it checked since I started taking Zocor.

BP also a healthy 150ish/90ish hehe.

Don't smoke, run regularly, not fat.....just ****ty DNA dammit!

Bring on the pork!

Can't believe no one mentioned Hog Maw...mmm....pig belly stuffed with sausage, potatoes, onion, baked in oven....mmmm...

Don't forget Black Pudding, the vital ingredient in the Full English Breakfast.

hehe... a Marine I work with had to calm the doc's and nurses at the clinic when they confirmed his cholestoral was over 500 lol.  Apparently it's a hereditary trait for Eskimo's (which he is).

Lol, reminds me of my trip to London. Local breakfast is um, well it wont leave you hungry thats for sure..:) Bacon, sausages, eggs and craploads of salt on them.  With the local blumbing sk3lz that extra fat is needed around your waist during winter..

Beats the cornflakes! :D

Same here, Raub

My first year in the Air Guard, I was 19 years old and they forgot to inform us of cholesterol screenings the following day...so that night I sucked down a bacon pepperoni pizza and a few frosty foamies while out with the guys.  Next day, they took blood (syrup? hehe)....few days later I'm called in to see the Comander and told I scores a 298 on my test.  Thinking I almost had a perfect score, the Doc comes and explains to me what it all means.  Opps!

Haven't had it checked in a while but I eat a lot smarter since then and exercise daily.  My Mom's is fine, my Dad is on meds to keep his in check.

Since I inherited his hairline and everything else, I might be on the Zocor wagon too...won't know til I get screened

Tough question, for myself it was when I turned 55....started thinking a bit differently then about life, the end of life and how I can improve one and postpone the other. That's why I stated my priorities have changed from gratification to longevity.

So, it's realy what you think it is for yourself rather than what others think of you as being.

BTW, I'm 10 months shy of 60 but look like I'm younger than 50
Got all my hair that has just started getting a bit grey.
A BP of 115/70
Bad cholesrterol at 102
I run 3 miles in the wet sand 3x a week
I weigh the same as when I seperated from the Army in '72
Have my own teeth, but not all of them :)

And I'm detirmined to outlive everyone of you people....IRL that is.
