Yep Flossy that was a fun one.  Nothing better then getting Mig15s to auger when they'd dive on our ground pounding F51Ds cruising along on the deck :)

What do you mean - Kadesh - Suez Campaign?

It was in 1956 at Middle East over Sinai, For most of western people it is known like Suez Campaign and Operation Musketeer - the Anglo/French coalition operation.

The breff storry you can find by pressing at Banner - Inroduction section in Scenario description

Thanks artik, it's a great link!

If you dont mind me asking, how do Israelis feel about a Messerschmitt Bf109 derivative playing such a vital role in your nations birth after the Holocaust?

Good question:

  • First it was Checkoslovakian S199 - that was produced on base of 109G14 with less powered engine. (75%).
  • Secondly when you have Egyptians Dakotas Bombing every day Tel Aviv you do not think about that this plane project was build by Germans. You need any fighter planes that can defend Israel Cites.
  • Third the WW2 had finished it was 1948 other storry.
  • Forth that was really strange for some pilots that had grown in RAF and USAF to fly Messershmit. Like Ezer Weizman that going to be IAF commander that was RAF pilot.
  • Fifth there were not a lot of S199 little bit later there were Britan Spitfires fling in IAF. And by the way Britans wasn't popular in Israel - they prevent from Jews to immigate from Europe to Israel when the Holocaust started.

cool,
do we also get to cut comunication wires with the mustang's wings and prop? :)
That's pretty much all they did as far as i know.

Didn't the egyptians have tempests as well?

Bozon
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.

Good knowlege anbut Suec Campaign. I thought about cutting comunication wires but it is impossible to do this in AH.

No Egyptinas do not have Tempests - in 1956 they hadn't used prop planes. They had good Jets thet could do this work pretty well. They had Vampire, MiG-15, and Il-28 that could do this job well. Unfortunatly we do not have plane in AH that can simulate Vampire of MiG-15. By the way if IAF had more strike Jets they also wouldn't used Mustangs in Kadesh war. IAF lost a lot of Mustangs because of Anti Aircraft Artellery.....
EAF has excelent fast good loaded strike Jet Il-28 (Ar234) so it is not need to add soem non historicl planes.
