I bet 6 senators are really spearheading this thing.  Anyone wanna bet whose district these hospitals are in?  Its akin to watching people scream about cutting military spending then screaming when bases in their state are shut down (hello California).

Oh well... If this is the best thing you can find to say about hillary, the title of the thread is more accurate than you think.

One of the hospitals being shut down is in her district.  If you think this doesn't affect votes you are mistaken.  The unanswered question would be if she would be participating if the hospital in her district did not appear on the list.

There is enough here to show that "care for veterans" might or might not be the primary concern.  That this is brought up on veterans day says more about Hillary than anything.  Caring... maybe.  Oportunistic... definately.

I have no idea what you are talking about MT.  But let me make my oppinion very clear:

A story coming out on Veterans day about hillary's attempts to keep a veterans hospital (in her district) open is pretty typical hillary.  Just as showing up at an NYPD ball in the wake of 9/11 is pretty typical hillary.

Champion those moves all you want big guy.  Afterall... how could they be anything but caring... right?

I am with Mini D on this one,  I suspect her motives and her timing.  Supporting Veterans these days is a popular move, too bad there wasn't more support for the military, their families and the Vets when the Clintons ruled the White House.

Interesting that there is some informed opposition to her move, and I have to believe at least some of them know what they are talking about and if there are benefits to be realized from the changes to be made.  She seems to not know the details, but wants to meddle.

Simple take: I generally dont trust politicians motives but with this one I dont trust her motives especially.  She is a politician of the most dispicable sort.
