Why is it, almost everytime a black person is arrested, the first thing they yell is that the arrest is racially motivated?

Is it just another attempt to escape blame?  An attempt to make the law enforcement official look like the bad guy.   I have no doubt that there are plenty of cases where police have allowed bias into their actions.

BUT,

Micheal Jackson is being accused by a child who stayed at his house.  The police didn't go begging him to claim abuse so they could have a good old fashioned KKK type lynching I am sure, and lets not forget, this is the same Micheal Jackson who paid in excess of 10 million dollars to silence the claim of molestation back in the early 90s.  Why did he pay that if he was such a good hearted innocent, who of course wouldnt touch a child inappropriately?

Are these people who are so quick to run to the press and yell racism considering this?  Do they consider he is one of the most weird individual you will likely ever encounter?

Does anyone actually believe the head of the Police department and the Prosecuting Attorney have nothing better to do than pursue some kind of evil vendetta against Jacko?  Are they really going to risk thier careers to extract some evil justice?  Get real.

One thing good old "keep giving me money Micheal" Jermaine might consider, being a "racist redneck" might be disgusting, but being a "pedophile" is worse, it's disgusting, illegal and destroys young childrens lives.

If he is guilty, it would hard to imagine a penalty strong enough.  If he is innocent and being harmed publicly by a family out for money, they should be severly punished.

One thing is for sure, there are no winners in this one.

Why is it that almost every white guy posts something like this almost every time a black guy gets arrested?

I think its human nature to make ANY excuse to avoid blame.  I'd love to go on but then I will be accused of being "racist" because I am not black.  Lord knows that only black people can say anything bad at all about black people.  

If you do say anything at all that is in fact negative about a black person you will then be stereotyped as a "racist redneck" by the exact same people who say stereotypes are bad.

there is no outcry from people over this because of the point made above.  If you do complain about it you will then be branded as the above mentioned sterotype and you will have thrown in your face about 300 years of oppression and all that.

this is all IMO of course...let the branding begin

Maybe some people believe in facts, not obscuration.

Why, when a young man who confessed to beating and raping the Central Park jogger a few years ago,  why did he yell out "RACISM" in court when he was found guilty?  

He confessed for Gods sakes,  it was recorded on video tape. How was that racism?

The Police and Prosecuting Attorney in the Micheal Jackson case are doing no less than they are required based on the complaint brought to them.   How in the heck is that racism????

Why is it okay for Jermaine to call these people "redneck racists?

innocent till proven guilty...and thats all i have to say on it...and thats all anyone should have to say on it till the verdict goes through...

I didn't say he is guilty, and in fact am open to the possibility that the whole thing may be a fabrication to extort money, or set up a huge lawsuit.

I just get frustrated when someone immediately yells "race".

White guys dont post something like this when a black guy is arrested - white guys post something like this when the black guy says something like this:

Because juries and TV news audiences are full of stupid whites who feel guilty for things 150 years ago, and full of racist blacks who want to stick it to "the man".  Defense lawyers know suckers when they see them.

Innocence in the eyes of the law does not necessarily equal innocence. He was guilty as soon as he committed the crime if he in fact did. If he was innocent 10 years ago of the same crime why did he pay millions to his accuser for his silence? Doesn't sound like the actions of an innocent man to me and since I'm neither the judge nor juror I can in fact decide for myself whether he is guilty or innocent.

Ahhhh, sarcasm, I get it now.   ;)

We stop practicing that in our house because my wife never got it, and she swings a mean frying pan.   :)



BTW,  this thread didn't start about whether he is guilty or innocent, just the quick cry of racism.
