We're certainly going to get some good intel of the destruction of, or whereabouts, of any WMD, and just think of the stories Saddam could tell about Germany and Frances roll leading right up to the start of the war! Oooooh, this is gonna be fun!

to the forces that made this possible.

There is talk of a letter having been found in Baghdad linking Atta (sp) the hijacker who helped plane 9/11 to Saddam.

George was right. There is a link to Al-Queda and we will get Saddam.

Just heard the news...

WTFG US!!!!!....about time...but later is always better than never.

This should REALLY help to quell the resistance in Iraq.

A trial by his own people is in order...then a good old hanging, wrap him in a pigs carcass and then bury him.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

What a hero!

"I will never be taken alive" just turned into "Anybody got a cigarette or a towlette?"

There may be a backlash against U.S. and coalition forces in the days and weeks ahead, but it will probably be short-lived.  The Baathists who were carrying out some of the terrorist attacks were doubtlessly being encouraged by the knowledge that Saddam was still free and defiant.  Surrendering meekly should take the wind out of their sails, in the long run.

An Iraqi official just made the statement that..."there will be a trial.  He will be allowed a lawyer.  If he cannot afford one, the court will appoint him one."  :rofl

It appears that the principles of democracy are gaining popularity.

Saddam was captured.  By ANY standards that's a good thing.  Instead of a "good job", people like Fishu, mora, Straffo, maslo, etc are STILL crying and turning it into a horrible thing.  It's why you can't take 90% of what they say seriously.  You can't get much more bias than that.

Country-envy is a horrible thing.

Here's an interesting point of view :

Quote
In Yemen, Mohammed Abdel Qader Mohammadi, 50, said he was surprised Saddam didn't fight his capture. "I expected him to resist or commit suicide before falling into American hands. He disappointed a lot of us, he's a coward."

Saddam is a coward? No! Say it ain't so. The Hero that killed thousands? This can't be.

I'm not pissed at all.  I think it's funny.  Your comments in threads like this are why only a handful of people take you seriously.

What am I in denial about?

I was joking.
And the denial part don' t apply, it's just a translation error, I'll correct my post (I confused "you" and "him" , then forgot to remove the "you" when remplacing it by Cabby)

good luck understanding my post :D even knowing what I wanted to say it no clear :D
