That will free up many troops for other uses.
I cannot see how it could attract more iraqis to the resistance. But I can see how it would attract them to the coelition.
But Im not an Iraqi muslim
The Iraqis will not imprison him for life. They will kill him.
Increadable that he was able to resist capture for so long by such simple but disciplined means. He must have had killed the men that made those hidy holes.

I wonder if they will kill him.  At least immediately.

The coalition wants him alive for obvious reasons:  to validate their claims of WMD, etc.  If he doesn't talk at all, then there's no reason for them to keep him alive.  If he gives up everything at once, then there's no reason to keep him alive.  After his usefulness has expired, he'd best serve as a lesson.

I'm interested to see what happens to him.

Then someone was having flag between two sticks and some arabic writing on it

These flags?

I can't really see anything...

No, it was footage against some other building.
The flag with writing on it, had 3 or 4 lines in smaller letters
Most people were also nearer to the wall and looked more towards the camera.
The emblem however was seen faintly on the flags in the footage.
Not sure was it in all flags or not, but at least in 3

He'll be tried by the Iraqi's once we've bled him dry of any useful information. Does anyone think there's even the remotest chance he won't get the severest penalty possible after brutalizing so many for so long?

What purpose does it have to warehouse him? Once he has provided the information needed do we keep him alive as a rallying point for further violence or do we allow him to be removed from the earth based on his own actions?
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

A U.S. defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Saddam admitted his identity when captured. Sanchez, meanwhile, said that two men affiliated with Saddam were also detained and that soldiers confiscated two Kalashnikov rifles, a pistol, a taxi and $750,000 in $100 U.S. bills.

Judging from the emergency survival kit he had with him, I'd say if we didn't find him in Iraq we would have found him fully licensed driving that cab freelance in lower Manhattan...Still begs the question of what he was planning to do with the SECOND AK.

I'm merely repeating a bit of information that was included in a History Channel show regarding Hitler.  Hitler is said to have been a lazy person.  He apparently spent a lot of "busy" time lounging wherever he might be.

If you have a problem with the info, call the History Channel.  I'm sure they haven't read a damn thing on any subject, Ripsnot.  :lol
