so you're saying none of the 100 people in tank town can be bothered to provide defensive cap? man the various aa defenses? resupply when a vh goes down?

what are you really griping about here? the fact people won't play your way, i.e. help out with the war? or the fact that a single fighter/bomber dude can affect 100 people with a few eggs?

might i introduce you to lazs and/or beet1e?

Tank town rules. formations of Lancs sneeking in there and carpet bombing drools.
The mountains should be extended to 35k

you could just let fighters with no jabo ability or huge guns to be able to take off from the VH's

that would be cool it would mostly be early war planes have a

tank town\early war furball area

just a idea

they would die

the panzer is for the flak panzers;)

the airplane vh idea was not for vulching flaks but lancasters and give some sort of air defence even if its weak

i know i know the early warbirds cant handle  lancasters and other aircraft well
but it would give some sort of way of defending from the air

and it could start a early war furball area:)

OK, pardon my ignorance but I'm new around here I want to get this straight. I am assuming that that huge meteor crater in the center of the map that I never bother to go look at is Tank Town? Is the problem that now all planes can take off from a VH base too in addition to Tonka Toys(TM) or do they have to fly over? Am I also to assume that Tonka Toy(TM) inhabitants are miffed because some airplanes are dropping bombs on their heads? Or are the planes taking out thier fuel and ammo?

If the aircraft are going in there just to pork the Tonka Toys(TM) fuel and ammo for no other reason than to ruin their game then that is bad form, but if they are only hitting TonkaToys(TM) thats A-OK.

Put one field for each side up in the mountains where the osties couldn't reach it.  Make the only plane available an ME-163.  It doesn't have enought range to hit anything outside the immediate area but can certainly deal with an bombers/fighters that stray into the area.  That would also allow for some fun 163 furballing.

A typical sortie to tank town includes:

1) Kill the enemy spawn campers. This is tough because the campers like to relocate near TT.
2) Kill any resupply vehicles (easy).
3) Kill any planes that come in (can be tough when you're heavy).
4) Scout enemy locations for friendly GVs.

When a GV gets egged the typical response is:

1) Whine on ch1 and insult the enemy.
2) Up an AA GV and try to shoot back.
3) Up a JABO and kill opposing GVs.
4) Up a fighter and try to get even.

Tonight I killed:
 7 Lancs
 3 Nikis
  2 P51s
  2 P38s
  2 P40Es
  2 P47s
  1 A20
  1 Yak
  1 B26
  16 panzers
  2 M3s
  1 M16
  1 Flak

Thanks for whining about TT! :aok

Shane -

"what are you really griping about here?"

Nothing, I floated a suggestion about tank town and how maybe the gv'ers could get a little more satisfaction. I like the idea of:

A. being inaccessible or

B. having limited fighter support in there, I've already said it above.

"the fact people won't play your way, i.e. help out with the war?"

Nope, I don't really care how anybody else plays. But if I could make it go away, I would, because it pulls so many of our resources. Oherwise, shrug.

If your gonna throw at me, try to keep 'em in the strike zone.

Now you really need to shut up. Its all about ME ME ME ME ME!  "I like the idea of" Well i'm sure this would be a much better game if YOU, and YOU alone made this game instead of experts who are doing their best to, brace yourself you might not grasp this concept, give us ALL some satisfaction. Not just a certain group excluding some others. But maybe im mistaken and babbling, i mean they are only educated in this area:rolleyes: :lol
