Well it started off with a perfectly legitimate post about the very painful and obvious void left by the lack of a P-38.

As for these other people, groupies and stragglers. Pfft.

Exactly.  Anyone that has known me in the years that I've been playing online flight sims know that I only fly one plane.  It just sucks no being able to fly it in AH2 yet.

I'm hoping the wait is because they're taking out the auto-flaps

Save the best for last.
really in AH 1 the later planes just look better

just let natedog/superfly experience first with these unimportant models.

time to finish all spits 109 and stangs.

Still it's time to reward the P38 pilots

I especially like the Bf-109E in AHI, it's interior is really awsome! one of the best :)

I really think the German planes lack interior detail, for example, the P-51 (especially in AHII) is brizzled with equipment while the Fokke Wulf or Messerschmidt has only about 2 fake levers!

really good planes take longer to model
« Reply #13 on: February 22, 2004, 09:46:15 AM »
The prettiest and best planes are more complex. I hope they fix auto retract too, or at least raise the threshold a bunch. The base model needs to be a really good looking version, like "California Cutie", "Scat IV", "Scrap Iron IV", "Texas Terror", or "Happy Jack's Go Buggy".

I can wait, so long as it's for a good ride. Fixing the compression model would be nice too. I guess I need to learn skins, like I did for AW, and do my own. I have a great idea for my own nose art.

Which is why they got the Spitfires out the way first - and are saving the smurfy p-38 for last.  Fat ugly pos that it is.
