"The highest responsibility of our government is to provide for the common defense and to keep the American people safe. "

Practically first thing you read on his website, March 6.

Yet he voted to cut pretty much every masjor weapon system usded by all the services and cut the CIA buget...

Wow, and people ask me why I dont vote....

Anyway, now ill go see how he aims to create new jobs.

You are taking a logical leap if you equate "major weapons system" with increased security. You are intelligent enough to realize that there is much more to the story than that.

I could be more specific but is really neccersry to speell out every big weapon system the military uses?

Be proud of his national security record!

True MT, but at some point the military needs weapons, well at least according to most people not named John Kerry.

No... I'm saying that "pretty much every major weapons system" encompasses far more than just a few airplanes or tanks. There are the platforms, the weapons, the defensive systems, the command and control nodes, etc...

I posted the list just to give an idea of scale. Kerry has been around for decades. Imagine how many systems there have been in the defense acquisition stream during that time.

Until we have single issue legeslation all this talk of Kerry's flip flopping is nothing but spin.

Ask the Reps who changed their votes on gun legeslation recently why they flipflopped!

Adding pork to a bill is the number one reason that either side changes their mind.

Now, talk about flipflopping....ask yourselves about the many instances where the Prez voices support for a noble cause and then cuts funding to them post haste.

I have no time to dig for links but one instance comes to mind...something that's all too important for our future...our ( your ) kids education.

ok sandman, that makes alot of sence... reason for me asking was that i know for a fact that norway was offered the aim9X, but we chose the iris-t for some reason.

Also saw a number of other projects there that are alive and well.
