the death toll is now 192...and there are more than 1200 wounded...

the ****ing cowards put 10 bombs on board three trains, and another three on the stations, timed to explode when the aid teams reached the scene. Luckily they were detected and exploded on the spot by experts, but had they gone off...

this has been an indescriptible massacre, full of cruelty. Those animals don't deserve to have any human rights.

because no human being would do something like this.

it's been ETA, no doubt about it at this point. Its true that they've never done something this far-reaching before, but it's also true that ETA is terribly weakened by the very successfull police actions of the last 3 years. They are weakened, but they want to show strenght...and this is their way to do it.

On the other hand, if this was something of al Qaeda, they'd have said so at this time. It's normal that the political branch of ETA denies responsability...no *****, at this point there are more than 190 killed, almost 1500 wounded...

even Otegui, that bastard son of a ***** must be terrified at what his "little friends of the shot aimed at the back of your head" have done today. If they take responsability for this, they're going to eat REAL *****. Not only politically, or in front of a court, but also from the normal people who's really pissed off at this. We've had enough...WAY MORE than enough.

They're about to eat it, anyway, because if now people is stunned and terrified, tomorrow will be angry and hungry for revenge...you can bet that this weekend no ETA-friend will walk out from his house if he can avoid it.

radio report just in. 192 death, 1428 wounded, 44 of them in critical status. That means most of them won't reach tomorrow...

I have no words...

Hey Bettle, thanks a lot for that single message, sincerely.

Me and my family are all ok, some relatives are alive just by miracle (taking the previous train to Atocha station). My brother and his family live at less than 500m from Santa Eugenia stations, and his son and daughter were about to take the next train, so, again, God was with us. A personal friend was caught at Atocha station with the first blast, luckily her housband was already at work near that station and went as fast as possible to find her in shock state and crying, but alive and unharmed.

Again, thank you my friend.

My they find these Bastardos and kill them all.

Me alegro de leerte Man.

A colleague of mine had to take that train this morning, but she had to do the laundry and got late to the station, thus taking the next one.

She's been all day crying, and with good reason. Just look at the images, it's difficult not to shed a tear.

Just to put names to the images, here's the provisional listing of identified wounded:
