  • doesn't have restraint (she claimed her gun position was 'uninformed', that means she was ignorant)
  • she's a lesbian (I don't care if it's not PC...nature doesn't let gays marry, care for young, or propogate)
  • she acts rather self-important just because she's a celebrity (a little humility would be nice since it is the people who made her a celebrity)

There.  MT if you wish to call me a bigot because I don't like her since she's a lesbian.  Then I will be considered a bigot by you.

OTOH, if you to consider me a small shrubbery because I don't like her since she's a lesbian, then I will be considered a small shrubbery by you.  Either way, it doesn't matter.

She will still be a lesbian, I will not accept homosexuals as I do heterosexuals and you will consider me whatever you will consider me.  Nothing will change. [/B]

OMG we agree now thats weird

Drunky, you will probably not like me either....because deep inside, I'm a lesbian too. (smells like fish, tastes like chicken!)

I like Rosie and feel sorry for her regarding her childhood.

The gay thing is still wrong...like her, dislike the lifestyle.

I will give an extreme example for my thoughts:

Just because enough people are vocal that having sex with children is 'normal' and they deserve rights, marry children, etc ad naseum, then I guess everyone else will just kowtow since it's the PC thing to do.  Never mind that a line has been crossed.

I would imagine that thirty years ago everyone would think of homosexuals marrying as far fetched as my extreme example above.

Call me a bigot.  If that is what will happen for standing up for my beliefs then so be it.  Ostracize me as a bigot if that makes you feel correct.

P.S.  Don't bring in the race issue (well, fifty years ago no one would have thought blacks would be treated equal).

Nature doesn't have a problem with humans of different colors or races.  Nature does have problems with homosexuals.

You give her too much credit.  Oprah carried much more weight (sorry for the pun) than Rosie did for this IMO.

True, but you obviously forget the "old" Oprah. She was the queen of the dirt slingers. That was how she toppled Phil Donohue, and that was how she rose to the top. The good stuff came later. Mainly in response to Rosie.

Evidence of homosexuality abounds in nature. If it's procreation that is your bugaboo, I guess you hate all those women who've had hysterectomies too.

And you really cant compare humans to penguins can you?
Although my ex mother in law does look like a penguin and..... oh well nuther story.

Humans have souls and rules of life that we should atleast make an attempt to live by.

And being Gay breaks every single one of those rules.
I'm not going to apologise for believing in the Bible and most of it's teachings.

But on the other hand I don't think gays should be descriminated against either.
But the whole marraige thing is a freeking joke and should never be allowed.

EVERY one of those rules?  Killing?  Gluttony?

Wait, which commandment in specific does it break?  Because the only part of the Bible that really goes into this is Leviticus, and a bunch of THOSE rules seem to have been 'deactivated' by the church, including prohibition on shellfish, the requirement that you grow a beard, etc.

Ya might wanna read Romans.

Also ya might wanna read about the whos ,and whys, and wherefores, regarding the church rulings and the laws.

So far a genuine scientific reason has been found for many of those laws.
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.
