DA, CT? The MA is where the action and satisfaction is. That's why there's 500 people in MA, 25 in CT and 6 in DA prime-time...HTC makes it's money from us becuase of our addiction to the MA. If HTC had to live on the money from the players in the CT and DA, it would be based in HiTech's basement and the server would be an overclocked Commodore 64.

It got to be far more than an irritant.

It was also hardcoded to come just after a map reset. All maps that came up, came up at dusk, very anti-climactic after a really nail biting reset contest.

So the Germans didn't institute the Wilde Sau program using day fighters roaming defined air-defense zones at night to attack incoming Allied bombers? I would point you at Jagdgeschwader 301/302 "Wilde Sau" for a book about the two Luftwaffe fighter squadrons that did exactly that.

When there are no icons, (instead, searchlights or large burning cities), no dot dar (maybe just bar dar or dot dar updated every five minutes or so) and varying nights from pitch black to full moon -- Wilde Sau becomes remotely relevant.

HTC deserves my money, it's a fine product. I have always viewed buying games and paying subscriptions as doing my part to fund the R&D of genres I think are paving the way of the future in online gaming simulations. I can't wait for the day it's all virtual reality, we'll be wearing sensor laden gloves and seeing the environment in a true 3D perspective.

...that would eliminate the fun of flying at night MadMan as a result it is not something I do. And the idea of turning my monitor down is retarded (post prior) - the notion of night fighting is that EVERYONE flies with the same challenges.

And MadMan I make no presumptions about whether you're a moron or not so please do me the courtesy of not assuming that i fiddle with my system. I'm advocating night fighting vis a vis day-light fighting because it is a visually different experience and a different skill set - to make it similar to day-light fighting by tweaking my display would eliminate its appeal.
