Official Presidential Elections Betting Post
« on: April 13, 2004, 06:30:28 PM »
(inspired by Eagler)

Lets make it interesting - here's how it will work.

Your pick is either Bush, Kerry, or a write-in candidate of your choice.

$20 US is the wager.

When the elections have produced a winner, I'll administrate it, including who sends what cheques where with all relevant shipping info.

Keep the debate to other threads. Here, simply say "Bush" or "Kerry".

In order for you to collect, I will need to know your address, which we'll do through private email after the results are known.

Deadline for the betting is August 31st.

Once you've committed to your bet by indicating a choice here, you may not change it. Any "edited" post is disqualified.

To be eligable for the bet, you must have registered on this BBS as of March, 2004.

(I hope that covers everything).

Ok chumps - time to put your money where your mouth is!

Why not... "write-in" candidates are allowed.

Do I have you down for Stack, then?

lol

No - y'all will be sending money to eachother.

If you receive your shipping instructions and all the addresses point to one place in Calgary Alberta, then that would be a red flag. :)

Otherwise, I don't have post office boxes in Montana and Norway and couldn't be arsed to travel the world collecting 20 dollar cheques. :)

hehehe...I'll wait until John Kerry announces his running mate before I'll commit. Maybe it will be Robert Stack, hell, Ashcroft lost an election to a dead man.

Sure, write in candidates are allowed.

Even dead ones.

I'd put you down for Ike, but unfortunately your registration to this BBS makes you ineligable.

But you are funny so I'll give you a haha haha ha ha hahhaha.

It's what you're after, and hey - I aim to please. :)
