Don't believe everything you hear on the history channel.  I remember watching a P-38 documentary and it listed in the description that it was a "Twin engined jet that helped win the war for the allies"

That, and a number of other things that make me roll my eyes and yell at the tv that they didn't get right, but could have been cured with a little bit of research.

Interestingly enough, my mother is really into this and she goes to see psychics and the like for information on her past lives, and she brought home the news that at one time I was a knight.  With shining armor and the like, good thought but I call the psychics she sees as quacks.  But..maybe that explains my deep loyalty to the chess piece that I play for on this game.

that's intersting to say the least.  I know from my kids they really do and say the darndest things.  I was listening to a child psycologist on talk radio and he talked about somthing called "night terrors"  what he described was too the T what my daughter was going through.  She wasnt sleeping but she wasnt awake and just screaming nonsense.

This DOC told a story about a little boy who started screaming "the wall is falling....the wall is falling"  a week later the kid got out of bed and crawled in with his parents.  That night there was an earthquake or somthing and the wall right next to his bed crumbled.

I've also heard storys that kids can see ghosts and spirits.  I've definatly heard my daughter having an entire conversation in here room.  It sounded like she WAS talking to somone but I just striked that up to imagination.

There is no such thing as a ghost.  That is superstition and not real.  It's the idea of unfinished business that worries folks.

The Japanese have a saying, "The mind is the same in heaven as it is on earth."  I believe the transition between life and death is not noticible to someone who dies.  They feel no pain or horror, or remorse for leaving this world.  There is much to do after physical death serving God.  To me, heaven would be being 17 again.  I don't think I'd change anything I've done in my life.  I'd do it again exactly the same way, only I wouldn't be an artist.  Not having an earning income for 26 years is rough and downright emasculating.

LOL...gotta earn something or I might be a ghost.:D

most young children are closer to the Divine as they haven't been around long enough to become selfish turds like the rest of us
they see life through "eyes of wonder"

as they age, this wears off and "reality" sets in

When I was in the 3rd grade I used to draw airplanes with bent wings attacking aircraft carriers all the time. I wouldn't draw anything else and my dad would criticize me cause I drew war pictures and asked me why I didn't draw animals or something else. I think I may have saw a war movie or something and it set into my thinking. Not a clue.

It actually says in the bible that all the children of the world will be taken during the rapture for the exact same reason as you described.  This book I read about the rapture (left behind) actually talks about a woman giving birth to nothing because her baby was raptured as it was being born.

I used to hang out with this woman who said either her murdered mother or psyco brother was haunting her so to speak.  I never thaught much of till one day we were talking about it and all the dishes in the sink fell and broke.  Freaked me out.  Her son who was 2 at the time would have alot of conversations ALONE.  My daughter didnt start developing her imagination till about 3 and a half so that allways freaked me out as well.
