Weird story

"They were terrible, terrible," Andrea said. "He would scream, 'airplane crash, on fire, little man can't get out!' He'd be kicking, with his hands pointing up at the ceiling."

When James was 2 1/2 years old, he and Andrea were shopping and he wanted a toy airplane. "I said to him, 'Look, it has a bomb on the bottom' and he told me, 'That's not a bomb, it's a drop tank.' I had no idea what a drop tank was."

If this story is true, why would the boy "roll his eyes" when asked by his mother who shot him down?  The Japanese:rolleyes:

He would have called them Japs, if it was a recollection, especially from a fighter pilot, he woulda wanted to kill them with a vengence and hated their guts.

Sorry, I don't buy this story.  A two and a half year old toddler would not be PC and using PC terms.  He would tell it like it is.

So you are 100% convinced that every navy pilot would always call them Japs?

Robert Conrad as Pappy called them 'riceballs'.... but that was the Marines.

And the kid is a liar, as I am Lt. James McCready Huston.  At least I was, and I was him first.

No I'm not Grun.  I'm basing my reply on something I saw on the History Channel, "Jugs over Europe." Or something like that.  One of the P-47 pilots said that after a while, it was a matter of killing, and hate was part of it.  He said, you had to hate the enemy, or he would kill you instead.  Just makes sense in a situation where you're flying planes and trying to kill other human beings by straffing and killing everything in sight.

I don't know anything about it.  I was using deductive reasoning based on what the Jug pilot said on the TV.  My point dealt with being skepticlal about re-incarnation and don't believe there is much to this story.  That's all I was talking about.

Some great counterpoints being presented here...

How did the kid know about the Natoma?
"He is a liar"

What about the correct sequence of events leadning to the crash?
"He said Japanese not Japs"

Perhaps the kid (if it's true) is only using PC terms, because that is the way the kid interprets and translates this "other life" in a familiar way/language....

Anyhow, I think if this is the only way to debase these claims is by the PC language argument...then you're really reaching

Maybe the kid is possessed by a spirit rather than reincarnated.

I thought I'd throw that out there since people who believe in something like reincarnation should be able to have an open enough mind to be able to believe in spirits and possession too.

Well, one thing is for sure...James Huston sure wasn't flying Corsairs off of an escort CV.  It would have had to have been an FM-2.

Besides the fact that I was Lt. James McCready Huston, in some of my past life regression sessions, I remote viewed little James and found out that he was a logistics clerk at Ft Dix from '44 to '47.
