Meaning u did the best you could with some point you were trying to make. Yes, you tried your best - gave it 110% even - it is out of your hands now, and no fault of yours.

Also http://www.operations.mod.uk/telic/casualties.htm  I looked through them all, many have faces to their names which has always made it more moving imo.  It's a shame that they've been so many deaths through road traffic accidents too :(
