That was the main point of my post in that thread.  I'm getting that same feeling for the NFL as well.  So many criminals, (pick a color, any color) so little time...

Funny...

Now a group of Black guys is a "posse". The racism is so blatant if it were a French guy it woulda kissed you on both cheeks.

Didja ever do something stupid with your "posse" when you were a teenager or young adult Rip? Did people automatically consider you a "gangmember"?  I bet not.

Yes...very warm, very comfortable and very practical.

When I was at Uni I shared a flat with two Palestinian brothers. Utter liabilities, both of them. They would go 'shopping' and steal as much as they bought. They were as cheeky as hell. Didn't pay the television license, the inspector knocked on the door, Amjad answered it and said........no Amjad is not at home but you can speak to his flatmate. I was utterly livid.

But! They were good blokes. They would have sold all their possessions had I been in trouble, to help me.

It's a good thing to live amongst many cultures.

What the hell have you folks seen in your life that makes you think anyone would do that?  I'm honestly curious.  It's absolutely incomprehensible to me.

I guess I'm just a sheltered little white boy.

Sure there are nutjobs, but I put someone who's crazy in a different category from someone who has logically (kinda) thought things through and has committed to an ideology that they're willing to murder for.

In Hinckley's case, crazy wasn't an ideology.

How would you explain my favorite sports stars (as mentioned in other posts) of all time being Barry Sanders and Walter Payton? Color? no.  Moral responsibilities? yes. The cultural differences between Sanders and Iverson are like night and day.  And that, my friend, is a perfect example of "Cultural differences" and perceived "racism" looking out from the left side of the vehicle.

In regards to my "posse", I outgrew that at 18 years of age. Too bad the NFL/NBA can't.
/hijack rant over.

I agree.  You don't have to be KKK to be racist.  MY neighbor isn't KKK but he has a very uneducated idea about blacks.  It's through upbringing and ignorance... not an organized community that he belongs too.
