Call me crazy, but isn't that the COMBAT THEATRE?

Personally, I would get really bored flying the same plane all the time, but thats just me. I have never understood folks "needing" to fly one partucilar plane to have fun. I fly every plane in the AH planeset with an equal level of mediocrity and I have no doubt I am a better overall pilot having significant time in all the various types, much better than had I stuck with just one. Since I fly nothing but the CT is wasnt hard, nor did it take very long, to get to a decent level of lethality in each one.

Sure I have favorites, like the 109F-4, the 190A-5, the P47-D11, the F4F-4 and the C202. You will rarely, if ever, see those planes in an MA type arena, which is really too bad and its their loss.

Combat Theater with its historic matchups seems to be THE answer for period planes.  No need for the dreaded rolling plane set anywhere, especially in AHII beta where access is needed to all rides to get the bugs out.

Now ... thinking way ahead ... after all the existing Aces High arenas are updated into AHII and Tour of Duty is added ...

why not add a second Main Arena variation as a gorgeous simple essence of NO perk ride points AND external viewing for all rides?

Take advantage of cyber empowerment to allow integration of god-like immersion into WWII combat.  Unshackle customers from having to amass ride credits like captives of retail store snoop cards.

Call it Unlimited Arena or Maximum Arena with more eye candy and no complications.   Many stalwart customers don't give a rat's pattooey about cyber scoring and cyber standings.

Nothing arcadish about it.  Just full freedom of choice.  Unlimited/Maximum Arena could easily become the cash cow for all the other arenas.

Split the arena's and you lose customers.

Look a WB, the have 18 seperate arena's, one for every passion with a total ingame population of 2 primetime..

Low icon, kinda low icon, mix and match, the world war 2 arena, the easymode arena, the arena where you can play bingo..

Well..

That "might" be an exageration..

But you get the drift.
