I'll have a Caterham Super Seven De Dion, with the 202 hp. Zetec engine and six-speed gearbox. 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. Possibly the best handling road car on earth. Clobbered Porsche and Ferrari in recent on-track road racing comparison test.

About $38,000 complete and ready to drive, $26k less engine and gearbox (roller).

Not much status per se, that is until you dispose of a $150,000 "supercar" and its owner commits suicide in his grief.

Comfort? Non-exisitant. Luxury? Not a trace. Practicality? Zippo. What it does offer is the highest level of performance below the mega-cars (Enzo, Saleen S-7 and so on).

My regards,

Widewing

I'm guessing STIP's current car is a pinto, vega or pacer.  Not that there is anything wrong with that.
