I'll be here until Oct 2001.

- I'm involved with electronic combat testing of modern aircraft. I'm a veteran... spent 10 years in the Navy as an air intercept controller

Both sets of grandperants were in the war my dads dad was caputerd in crete and my mums dad was a major in the army. Dont know what he did have not got much info on eiher of them they died when I was young. My mum was a young girl in WWII and can remeber the air raids and how it was in war time England

Grandfather and Uncle were both ground crews during their Air Force stints, my grandfather serving in various places in the Pacific during the war and even getting to service the Enola Gay once.  I had to be an oddball and not do anything AC related during my AF stint.

I used to launch AIM-7 for a living, the really really old AIM-7. Discussions with my younger brothers have revealed to me that AIM-120 was meant for me but delivered a couple of decades too late. Such is life.

Oh BigUC I hope you read this. There is a really good book out there that talks about that. It's called The Making Of The Bomb. Very brave men. I live next door to the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. It was built as part of the Manhatten Project. It made the plutonium for the A-bombs in WWII. It also has the worlds first operational nuclear reactor. I'm very interested in this kind of stuff. SwoopGB.   Swoop cos....um.....I was just getting into sims a few years ago, signed up for an online squadron (No1RAF, EAW) and had to pick a name.......some film that I cant remember the name of has just been on (Wesley Snipes, some cop who goes freefalling) and in it there was a parachutist called Swoop who wouldnt talk to you unless you'd jumped with him.  Oh and the GB is for Great Britain and is only there cos I already used Swoop.
