I remember my first flightsim box game. 1942 Gold. I messed with it for a couple of months in DOS trying to get it to run on my Amiga. I had upgraded it to a screamer with a meg of ram..

First time it ran I think I played it for 8 hours straight

Never gave up, and have been a flightsim geek ever since.

My first flightsim: Red Baron on my Packard Bell in 94. 600mb, Pentium, 64k Ram, CD 2x Rom

Then came Aces of the Pacific and Aces Over Europe. What a game! I played those on my PB till it FINALLY died in 2000 of a harddrive failure. It was the only system I could play TIE Fighter on.  :(

AH2 rocks so far, and it will only imrpove.

I never player Air Warrior on the hourly instalment plan but I got in on the Free on AOL time zone.I guess as time goes on the community kinda loses the respect we all had to a degree. If you took a pole of everyone in here that played AW to an ammount greater than 1 year,I would think 60% would be a conservitive number.VERY conservitive.

Noted and followed AH's progress from beta.

Been a subscriber since v1.03

Don't see any reason to leave and they haven't shown an inclination to kick me out, so I'll hang around.

HTC.  Thanks for a great game.

I've been playing Dale and Co. games since WarBirds 1.11. Did some alpha testing in this one. I don't plan on going anywhere. Dale's games have always run on my machines and none of them have been the latest and greatest. Most of the problems people are having I know relate directly to thier machine setup.

Charon, you brought back a lot of fond memories with your post :). Hours spent configuring that 640k to run games taught me a lot about operating a computer. I remember at first messing something up and having to reload everything because I didn't know how to fix it.

Man! Those were the days! (and I'm glad they are gone :) )
