I recall most polls indicated that about 60% of Americans favored ousting Saddam.

It was over 70% early on when things were going well.

Unfortunately not all americans stand fast when things get rough. There will always be people that turn and run (change their mind) when confronted with difficulty.

last night i want to a party, i met a man & wife from Bulgaria. He move here 3 yrs ago and learned english because he wanted to a "american"
He spent most of the night telling me want a great country America is.
