A5 - because I know it can be flown well - Lizard amazed me in it,   but I can't fly it well so its fun trying to fly it well.

La7 when need to kill couple of vulchers.......

Most of them do not react fast when I allready in the air and shooting then down........

Funniest thing to roll from field CAPped by two - three spiftires kill couple of them and RTB...........

It is best fighter for low altitudes fights and for scramble misstions because of its great acceleation/climb/speed.....

I get very fast in position for BnZ and then...... VULECHERS DIE

No matter what plane I try it seems I always go back to the Bf109G-10.  Don't ask me why because it can't roll worth a *****,  compresses if you don't pay attention, overshoot targets quite often, views suck, does not handle well on the ground and has only 106 gallons internal fuel.  Sometimes I wonder if the speed, climbing rate and 30mm cannon are worth it.

Hmmm,  I see heros in crappy planes on BB while in MA they all fly La7's ,P-51D's and some other uber planes.

If it does not have any 20mm canons or more then 4x50cals it stays at hangar. Thats the situation in the MA at the moment.

HT could delete 50% of planeset and it still would NOT have any impact on the game, nobody flies them for simple reason ...you kill slowly, die quickly, getting killed = no fun. Not enough reward for flying them imo.

I really have tried to learn and get some kills in P40B, there is no way to even fly against someone in another crappy plane without their (or mine) country mates interfering with the fight in their ugly-uber-rides.

What did I fly ? .... P40B, P40E, A6M2, F4U-1.

What do I fly ? .....started to fly 110G-2 and I HO every red-iconed-punk that comes in my way.

Same here.
109G-10 range is short - roll ratio anemic, compression - you allready allmost compressed at level flight..... views...... nothing to talk.... gandolas makes it even havyer (without that it is hard to get kills IMHO).........

But incredibly powered climb ratio and speed makes all the difference......

What I do not fly (from populat mashines)

• P-51D - allmost every normal plane outclimbs it..... it is very hard to develop E andvantage in same starting conditions.... takes long time to get in required position
  
• Spitfire Mk IX, N1K - allmost everything outruns it............. I can't escape, I can't catch.....
• La-7 it is great low altitude figher....... Rocket Climb up to..... 8K........ It is not enough manuverable to turnfight..... and it has very poor high altitude perfomance to do true BnZ.....
• P-47D/P-38 - overall average planes - nothing exeptional - nor Speed neither climb or firepower......
• 190A-5.A-8. F - very low climb raito - in 190D speed compencates it ;)

So.....

Typhoon-Fast. Can force LGay7s to overshoot easily for snapshot kills. Four Hispanos. Great 18k or less buff killer. Great nose-low deflection view.

P47D-40-Premier attack plane. Great at altitude. Great flaps. 8 X 50cals. Decent 18k+ buff killer. Zoom climbs great due to its mass. Good nose-low deflection view.

F6F-5- Can out-turn anything it can't out-run except a superlative P38 driver of which there are only a very few. Great flaps. Zoom climbs great due to its mass. Great nose-low deflection view.

P51D-Can out-turn anything it can't out-run. Great flaps. Great nose-low deflection view.
