Man I wish all these diehard Brand X pilots would shut the hell up and go away.

This is a Beta ..not a completed sim.

It doesn't have this plane it doesn't have this arena it doesn't support mac it doesn't fly the same as Brand X it doesn't wipe my bellybutton like Brand X....yeesh!

I'm getting tired of hearing these guys who have no intention of flying AH coming in here trying to tell everyone how bad it is because it doesn't have this or that.


If you are willing to Beta test it with the rest of us then welcome aboard..glad to have you.

If you just want to whine because this sim might cause problems for Brand X then please go to the Brand X UBB and leave us alone.

I have commented on one aspect of BrandW; connectivity. You deny there is a connect problem. Whatever. Iculus asks a question, you immediately turn it negative with an uncalled for remark.

I hope you enjoy the other sim; I did, when I could get in. But when someone asks a question and you jump in with the comment you made, well, someone will invariably rebut.

Yes, there are some who go over to AGW and stir things up (intentionally or not). I read the board occasionally too, but restrict posting to a bare minimum because it serves no purpose. I don't plan to ever fly that sim again unless I read widely published comments on how much better connectivity has gotten (that's why I watch the board). Your comment about it being "a vocal few" posting negative remarks about the connect strikes me funny; how many post bragging about how good the connects are? Compare that with how many unhappy people had a squad night squashed or a Scenario dumped?

I wouldn't even dare to compare the various qualities of the design of WB and AH- that is subjective, and I wouldn't presume to tell you which you should like. Iculus wanted information, and you tried to circumvent that process with your comment. Why not let him decide for himself?

As far as people keep bashing Quake, why? is it not the most intensive genre of First Person Shooters on the planet..(Yes Unreal is good too)The graphics in Q3 arena a simply incredible... The game play is incredible...

What would happen if HTC convinced carmack and friends to invest in HTC...(before you say quakebirds think before you post)Id doesn't half effort anything..thats why they are on top.

Id is also a graphic powerhouse. Combine that with the excellent network code and research here at HTC and you have a online sim juggernaut.

I find it very funny how those who keep posting quake sucks.. are the least knowledgable of the internet community.

My 3 yr old nephew who got his first frag the other day knows more about the internet then you quake bashers.. He doen't care if its quake, warbirds, airwarrior, AH, AOE all he knows is that its fun..  Half you quake bashers dont even know what runs on port: 80

or 21 or 25....

for the real genius how bout port: 1048 or 1059

quake bashers are lightyears behind technology....(quakebashers usually are unable to program their VCR or car stereo)

So keep talking trash and stay in the darkages where you belong.. go play pong or combat on the 2600...or better yet "the hidden flight sim located in MS excel 97" that may be more your cup of tea.
