Well I was a few days off on the nujmber one rank climb but I am getting close. I predicted he would be #1 by Tuesday. Well, today is Thursday and he is just up to #3. Friday he was #20. Just yesterday he had a GV rank of #200 which kept him at #12 over all. Today he ranks #22 in GVs. Now he must still improve his Bomber and GV score to pass up Truekill for the #1 rank. Can he do it?

A few base captures will put him over the top! Currently, 0 Base captures.

PS, Eskimo I am not picking on ya bud, I just think its funny!

Really though, its not my intent to pick on anyone. I just want to point out why I think scoring needs to be droped. Someone can come online and fly one sortie and rank #1 for the whole month while those that play constantly are not so furtunate. Also, its plain to see what drives certain players to play certain ways.....just to score!

You just cant come into the arena and fly all the time and expect to keep a high rank.

 Out of a 30 day month, he plays one night for 3 hours and keeps the #1 rank. You cant argue with the scores but you can argue how long or how much one plays

I'm a teacher, school just started this week and I've been very busy.  I'm sorry I let you down.  I'll try to milk some bases this weekend...  that is if the weather is bad and the CT fights are dull...

Someone can rank #1 in fighters in the CT in just one sortie because the vast majority of CT stats pretty much suck (compared to the MA).  If a guy like Fester were to drop in during the right set up and at the right time, he’d probably rank #1 after a sortie or two.  There just are not enough players to make points critical to having a good score.  There are probably a hundred MA guys who could pop in to the CT and rank #1 overall in just a few hours…  So what?  It is what it is.  Take it or leave it.  It’s not being forced down anyone’s throat.

I’ve found that I can fly in attack mode almost all of the time and do whatever I want with out any thought of score and rank well in that area, even defend ganged fields.  For fighter rank I just don’t switch to fighter mode until I see a decent fight that I can enter in a plane that I do well in, and try not to get too stupid.  Believe it or not, I don’t think about score/rank that much.  At least 80% of the time that I’m playing I’m just in it to mix it up, get some cheap thrills and to have a good laugh.  Usually when I’m doing a milk/score bomber or GV run, it’s because I’m bored with the lack of good fights.

I know a lot of folks think that all I care about is score/rank.  It’s really just one of many things in AH that I get a kick out of, usually when I’m bored with everything else.  If scores and rank were to go away I wouldn’t do most things any differently, especially when I’m in a single engine fighter.

Emodin's a squaddie of mine and in his defense other than trying to see how high of a hit % he can get air to air in his Yak he doesn't really play for score, he just does what he finds fun which often times gets him a pretty good score (very proficient in fighters and gv's)

I dragged him in to the CT one night because there was a good furball and he happened to get a lot kills... the bastard... I couldn't land a kill to save my life.... grrrr......

I just wanted to remind you guys that I dont mind what ever it is you do. I just comented on how silly the scoring system is in the CT. The scoring system favors those who dont fly a lot but kill when they do fly. Its just funny to me

With the lack of GVs in this map and the distance now between bombing targets, he may not make it GV vs Objects or a filed capture would put him over the top.
