Depends on my mood when I log in, or if I'm involved in a mission or winging....I've done both. But one thing constant: I was never concerned about my score.

Fly to live but no way I will RTB unless out of ammo or gliding after fuel is out.  A couple of times I have chased planes around without any ammo left, just so I can even the numbers, lol

base defense: fly till u die, run out of ammo, or secure the base.

fighter sweep, attack run, CT and Special Events: fly to live.

I never take off with the intent to die.

I always intend to live, but I will take off in situations where I am completely outnumbered and most likely going to die.

More often then not I will die fighting rather than live by flying safely.

I worry little about the outcome and more weather or not I will find a fight.

I reached my personal best in kills the other night-3! I landed as fast as possible to the nearest base! Usually though I die whether I want to or not. maybe someday I'll live to tell a story!!:)

Fly to live.

Don't care about score or rank only wins and losses.

It's much more intense than climbing/diving into a pile of red cons knowing you're toast stuggling to get at least one kill before you're wasted. No skill in that.

Or....flying a formation of B17's at 200 feet three sectors only to give three kills to the guy that you lawn darted near. Very lame.

Real combat pilots only had one life. That's the way I play too.

No respect to those that have 500 kills but have 500 deaths to go with them.

If i land ... either i couldn't find a fight or i was the last man standing . That's fun .

Score is merely an illusion .
