Where is Catalonia... anywhere near Dogovia?

Somebody told me it is on the Iberian peninsula, but I can't find that either.  In the neighborhood of Gaul....and Aquataine. Near the Pyranees, but all I have is this map of the Grand Tetons.

Yes, we do. And he speaks at least three languages fluently, probably four or more.

The American reaction reminds me of one of the Star Trek movies. Kirk and a few of the other guys were trying to decipher a mysterious signal that was being transmitted to Earth. They couldn't make head or tail of it. But then Mr. Spock, who had kept his silence till then, explained that the signal would sound different underwater, and that the signal was not directed at the human population, but to whales in the oceans. His one word assessment for why the rest of the (human) crew aboard ship had failed to realise that the signal was not intended for humans was "arrogance".

I always wondered how an extraterrestrial radio signal was deciphered and turned into audio so that sea creatures could hear it.  Must have something to do with dilithium crystals.

Quick Beetle, without looking it up, what's a Wyoming flag look like?

Silly Americans thinking September 11 has something to do with them.   Don't they realize it's the national day of Catalonia?

Beet, you are a jerk.  Why don't you take a bow?

Nope. Just pointing out that the US does not have exclusive rights to depict September 11 as a black day. Of course, it WAS a black day - in 2001. But Spain remembers that date for another, and no less valid, reason. Just because it was centuries ago, and in another part of the world, in no way detracts from that day's historical significance. It marked the end of a war in which many more than 3000 died.

That region of Spain has its own language, still in active use today.
