...but the knits.

The 1st/AG's first night of "FAST ATTACK" operations commenced with a heavy strike to P32 and A33, and elements of of the FDB's, 13th TAS, Nighthawks, Air_Squadron and several other bish units joined in. The target bases were reduced to scrap iorn, but tragicly the goons along with their escorts were ambushed by CV based knit elements and destroyed, the fields remained in knit hands.
Next we launched a heavy Navy raid from CV 54; at that time operating N of A29. Mayhem ensued as TBM's with F6F's and F4U's in Jabo roles tore the place up; and it was quickly in Bish hands. Despite problems with the planner producing some extrodinary waypoints from the CV all the swabbies all managed to find the target, and this mission was a total success.
After a 30 minute recess (my fediddlein isp croaked fer a bit) we departed A25 with 4 B17's, eight B26's, 10 p51's 3 c47's and a host of bloodthirsty bishes loaded out in a varity of A/C on a very complicated attack profile that included a diversionary raid at A34 while the main elements were slated to attack A38 and A30.
As before, most of bishland got involved and elements of of the FDB's, 13th TAS, Nighthawks, Air_Squadron and several other bish units joined in. The mission planner had 8 flights.. and it kept crashing when I tried to load the 9th. It seems kindy quirky since the patch and it's apparent that there's a limit to how much it can handle.

When the smoke settled 45 minutes later, 29, 38, 30, 26 & 27 were all in Bish hands and the knit city; surrounded, cut off from support or defense was under seige and quicky left in flaming ruins.
Not bad; bishes.. not half bad at all.

Thanks for participating.. at one point we had better than 35 aircrews in the air on the various tasks.. and despite a tremendous effort by the knits to thwart the juggernaut, determination; quick thinking and the appropriate timely and heroic action of INDIVIDUALS resulted in success for the entire combined group effort.
To all those who joined in and did the deeds... thanks, and WELL DONE! There will be more "FAST ATTACK" missions.. hope you enjoy 'em as much as I do.

Lordy; that was FUN! Anybody get any pictures?
