Why do they keep adding planes that require almost no structural work. Just take the barrels off that Typhoon and change a few small things and you have a Tempest.

Nice!

I hope this doesn't mean that this is the only RAF plane for 1.06.  If it is, well, no perk for me.

Nat-BDP,
How is that?

A barely saw combat in the last month aircraft is the same as a full service, production aircraft?

Ask for the Fw190D-9 and Me262a.  Don't whine about how "There must be a conspiracy because they arent giving me an aircraft that is a year more advanced than anything else".

Of course, if they do give you a Ta152 I won't have to worry about you because you'll be up a 40,000ft with only other Ta152s to kill.

Also, they are Hispano Mk. Vs, much more lethal than the Mk. II on the F4U1C and our current Barbiefires.

Its going to be a perk and I don't want to waste my hard earned perk points on an aircraft I'm not interested in.  I don't fly often enough to earn many perk points, and I don't have time to fly more often than I already do.     I'll save my perk points for the Spitfire F.MkXIV, Spitfire F.Mk21, Meteor F.MkIII and A7M2 Reppu.

I'll fly it offline of course.

Does anyone know if it will be a carrier launch capable aircraft?

Tempest was not carrier capable, so I'd say no.

If I remember correctly, Karnak, the Ta 152 and the 190D9 got the most votes in Pyro's late-war variant poll.

The only reason the Tempest was done is because the model is easy to create from the Typhoon.

P.S. don't take it out on me that you're not getting a Spit XIV this version! ;p

Nath-BDP,

The Fw190D-9 got the most votes, followed by the Spitfire MkXIV.  Ta152 or Tempest was 3rd, depending on how you scored it.

I wasn't taking it out on you, I was pointing out how ludicrous you're statement was.
