There was a great thread along these lines on a different forum.

Appearently it's great sport in some places to run over those old fashioned mail boxes.

The stories were about relatives or friends who basically made invincable mail boxes by planting steel poles 6 feet in the ground or whatever.

Or another guy filled up his trash cans (they were getting run over too) with cement.

One guy even dug a ditch in his yard and covered it with leaves.

Anyways, they all went to jail.

I know a guy who was getting his door mat stolen.  He pulled the pin of a hand grenade and stuck it under the mat so when the neighbor took it, the spoon popped and the grenade went off, killing him.

They gave the mat owner a medal.

That is rather strange they saw jail time.  I think the ditch is a tad extreme, but the invincible mailboxes and cement filled garbage cans are pretty funny  Dont understand the jail time on that one.

The dog pile idea is good.  No slicing, only stink.  I know it's only days away, but maybe rigging some form of a poop cannon or poop flinging device when the sign is yanked would be fun.  Hell, even a trip wire with a gigantic air horn would work.  

Blades - well, it's rather difficult to place blades and invincible mailboxes in the same category.

Bottom line is that they all got charged. Meaning there is some law in there somewhere.

also it is up to the DA's office and/or a Judge to decide if razorblades fall under the full definition of "booby trap" since razor blades will at worst cut u to the bone mor than likely if a charge was made it would be reckless endangerment.
Im not saying that i agree with the idea but your taking the law a little to literally for your argument.

Reckless: to commit and act knowing that the act "could cause injury to others yet continuing to commint said act.

Negligence: commiting an act not being aware that the act "could" cause injury to others. without 1st making the atempt to relize any possible dangers to others


in laymens terms. say your speeding if u have an accident you can be charged with reckless endangerment becouse you new the speed limit was being exceeded and could cause a accident with injuries or even death.

to be neglegent would be like hitting a golf ball over an embakement wich has several parking spots on the other side but, u didnt bother to look. If u damage a car or hit a bystander u could be charged with being negligent for not attempting to find out if your actions posed a danger to others

The law is not all black and white as you would like it. thats why we have judges and jury's ect.
