Now if I were you and came across him I wouldnt do anything more then say "Oh wow! What did you do to your hand?"
Just to see what his ready made excuse is gonna be. Cause you just know he isnt gonna say "I got it sliced up while trying to steal a sign"
Again I still wouldnt confront him with anything. Just walk away and chuckle to yourself.
I suspect you wont be having any more problems.
