As a person that deals with this Cancer thing on a daily basis, I'll simply say this.

If you haven't ever dealt with a woman that has had breast cancer , or has breast cancer , or is having a relasp ,  then may I suggest that you shouldn't even try to understand it or even give it a thought.

From the real friends, the people who I call friends and they call me friend, whome I've both talked to often and met in person, they know who I am and what I'm about, I'm talking about those here on Aces High.

This thread really needs to stop ... its all wrong from many different angles.

I too am leary of those that I have not met in person. One of the main reasons that I attend the con.

I will say that I have had beers and broke bread (err ... wings) with Morph and consider him a friend ... an all-around nice guy. Take it for what its worth.

Edit:

Spot on except for the last half.

I make friends when I make them. In this game, well, its a game bro. Get it? A game. Simply put, you, me and the rest of the peole who log on are really nothing but voices. Sure there are real people there behind the voices, but for the most part... They are just voices. You know, like the ones in your head? lol j/k. :) ANYWAYS...

If I dont like ya, better understand I'm going to tell you. I wont *****foot around about the fact. I do however give everyone a chance. As far as you and me are concerned, I neither like you or dislike you. Your just another player to me and thats that. No more no less. I'm more than sure  you dont give a rats bellybutton if I like you or not, I just thought I'd clear that up.
For some this is more than just a game. Its more than just a hobby. They take it futher. To me its just a game. One that I have alot of fun playing. I dont go about trying to insult every person I come into contact with, but if you are going to give it, expect to get it back. Simple as that.

I give back what is given to me and nothing less. I didnt get what I have now by being a nice guy and taking crap. I'm not going change that now even tho this IS just a game. Some people call that being an stunninghunk, I call it being fair.

ok, lets drop it.

the voices in my head are getting quieter these days

:lol
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

....once I cut off all my ten fingers by accident. I went to the doctor, he says," why didn't you bring the fingers? with todays technology we could easily sew them back on".

I yelled back, " how was I supposed to pick them up a**hole"!!!.

LOL!

I was just diagnosed with cancer today right before I read this thread.

I guess they call that irony.

I am offended that a few like Cobra and Streetstang/Morpheus would use cancer for personal attack's of a rival political party loss in an election in an online video game chat buffer.:p

 :o   O man, Regular...I'm sorry.  Mind if I ask what type of cancer?  What's the outlook for treatment?

Hang in there, sir.

It deserves repeating that Morpheous wasn't responsible for the comments.  He was just a rude, poopy-mouth after the fact.  :lol

I really hate the idea of posting on this thread again. Its a pointless thread and has done nothing to improve anything. With that being said here we go.

TBolt, I was wrong to have said what I said to you. I was being held responsible for a coversation and coments I didnt create or make. For that I reacted/over-reacted. I've got (for what its worth) alot of respect for you and what you do for AH. And this thread and the crap within it doesnt change that.

God it sucks to try and be nice.

I think this one sentence sums up the whole incident and then some.  If this simple rule was followed by all we would still be using channel 1.

Cobra and Morph,

It's easy to let comments slide in the heat of debate. I can see that you didn't mean to be insulting. Unfortunately it was construed that way.

I think that a simple apology would not be all so  bad, and you would certainly win my respect.

TBolt and others who were offended by my statements I'd like to apologize.  It gets very frustrating when people who are in the lime light are the one we as a society make such a big deal over.  My comment was more directed at the fact of who it was and not the fact she had cancer.  I don't mean due to her political affiliations either.  I mean that fact that just because she's in the big lights she gets headline news about her illness.  People are dying from cancer daily and how often do you see anything about them and the pain they have to endure?

Ritter,

If you really read through this thread not only would you know what was going on but you'd also know how I feel about that last word you wrote.

Instead,  my theory on how people only read the first post of any given thread and skip over the rest is getting more right with each new post. You couldnt even read the last couple posts.

Sorry to bring this thread out of the closet.

I've been very busy lately, but I just wanted tell Cobra, "Thank you for the apology."  I didn't like what was said, but I never forgot that you're the Cobra that I respected tremendously.
