The sole reason the U.S. entered into VN was to bail out the French.

I bolded the interresting part.

And it's still false , or I can't read (btw your own post gave a 2nd reason)

Irocz that website is pure crazy communist lies and delusions. You really should look into what their communists did to greece in the immediate postwar years before you belive them and their websites...

Not a commie, got link off of web-search and I didn't realize the source, maybe I should call Dan Rather and ask for advice.:lol

Irocz, are you a member (or follower) of the Communist Youth of Greece?

Hell no, I scored a 92(communism is -180,0 is moderate, and 180 is faschism,so I'm a bit far to the right) on a political spectrum test so I'm anything but a commie or a commie supporter.

France will learn that the price for not being a friend is a total indifference to their problems in the future.

In May 1945, the Truman administration gave France its approval to resume colonial authority in Indochina, Truman hoping that France would liberalize its rule there.

After Eisenhower took office in 1952, U.S. aid to the French effort in Vietnam increased, and by 1954, U.S. aid amounted to 80 percent of the costs of the French effort.

Did you write this or not?

"I think you should not be speaking about ignorance. The French officially requested US assistance in Vietnam, but the US refused"

If in your world, paying for 80% of the French effort is not assistance the French in Vietnam, what would you call it then?

If you want to say the US didn't send in troops fine.

Saying the US didn't assist the French is crap.

Sure, the US had nothing to do with the French in Nam. The French acted on their own. They paid for the whole misadventure from their own pocket. Great, please feel free to continue rewriting history as you see fit.
