Twist it any way you like but anyone with a modicum of reading comprehension isn't going to see it that way.

He quotes some of the more notable liberals and there's no way one can take their statements as anything but lacking respect. Exactly the thing that Edwards advised his fellow Democrats cost them this past election.

So "dissing" is merely an accurate description of what the people he quoted actually said. You can semantically twist it around all you like but you're only stroking yourself there.

Lastly, note that the writers reaction to this "dissing" is hardly whining... it's giggling.

He's laughing at them Nash, not crying about it. There's no "crybaby" in it at all.

I'm sure that's what most readers are going to get out of that editorial.

You don't get to laugh about heartland or republican riots or army of lawyer generated recounts cause... they just don't happen..

I don't see all this "liberal crying" all you guys keep talking about, in spite of you trying to create it here. The bottom line is more people connected with Bush than connected with Kerry- I consider that a difference of opinion, which is what makes horse races and politics....and I'll survive the next four years just fine, probably better than most of you who voted Bush.

This constant attack mode so many of you have been on since the election is tiresome, really. Mix that in with "conservative political correctness" and what we have is another AGW- a core group of conservative posters who attack anyone who offers a difference of opinion. There IS no more Kerry Camp. He lost. Some of you need to get over it.

MT, Sandman and Saburos knew it would take until Jan.1 until the celebration here subsided- they wouldn't be posting right now anyway for fear of running afoul of this Conservative Lynch Mob. They're smart.

You will never change nash's mind because he feels he is above it all. A real biggot. Facts mean nothing unless they are well written witty and.... most of all.... support his position and make him look hip and current... no, not just current... a notch above current...

I look at things differently... probly because of different life experiances... the people I was expossed to and my peers were criminal scum... biggots, bikers drug dealers etc. Those who did drugs like heroin weren't considered cutting edge byu this group... they were the weak ones and were often hunted down and killed simply for their addiction... we would be amazed that the same addiction would be considered ultra hip in some circles.

The good thing about growing up with the people I did was that they were so bad that it was a lot easier to see that they were wrong... some of their ways were seductive but most were obviously wrong and extreme.. On the other side... If you surround yourself with other groups whose sole claim to fame is that they are somehow better and brighter... there is no downside... no reason to look around and out of the box. Reinforcement is a cubicle or an article or a play away. You plant your butt in a big city and feed on each others faith in your own superiority.

you do your best to get the yountg into the fold... they have issues with belonging anyway... you want them because they have the energy.... MT or sandie or even nash just don't have the energy anymore to drink all night and turn over cars in a riot.

seems like that to me anyway...
