Trolling for TSSCI programs?...

Lets just say "IF" it would have happened "WE" would have won.

BTW I would have been 1st in Moscow after the smoldering was done.

Besides we did win the Cold War.

Read Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising and you may get some tips....even if it is fiction.

All I know is what my unit was supposed to do.

There was another book that was very good.  I think it was called Team Yankee.

Trolling?  PLEASE.

Another thread piqued my interest when it talked about Nato doing an exercise called Archer Able in 1983.

I was looking for specific answers, not just "we nuke them, troops delay them".

Actually one of the formed NATO commanders once said (and i dont remember the exact words sorry) that the plan was to

'fight with conventional forces until we are losing then fight with tactical nukes until we are losing then we blow up the world'

cheerful stuff.

It was revealed a few weeks ago actually that all our fighters up north had standing orders to attack soviet air defences until they were all shot down. This was supposed to be done to make it easyer for american strategic bombers to get through. This was in the 50's and 60's.

This was to be followed by scorching Finnmark to leave nothing for the russians.

Chilling.

They would get slaughtered, but id does show what the overall defencive plan was.
