I was there at 21 at the time the map reset and the Baltic map got loaded, the knits upped from A22 said they was going to take out the VH, and the ack and the Town..saw lot of Mossies, B26s amongst other planes..Kak3 was the firstgoon think Stone or Stoner was second goon, I was the 3rd goon..............by the time I got there ( my goon had 50% fuel ) the town was still up, I flew sw of the base behind a mtn til my fuel ran dry.......when I finally ditched and took off at A31 someone said town deown at A21 LOL.........
you see people start out thinking we going to capture this base we got the numbers hardly any resistence is up...by the time they get to the base they see maybe 3 or 4 low enemy icons and all drop ord to go chase the enemy icons now that the 30 or so are low and same alt as the 3 low enemy icons the enemy starts upping in mass for a little while it is bout even keel fight.......maybe 1 or 2 hvy fiters try to take buildings down at the town but rest are thirsty for a kill....3 goons end up of being no use because the attack planes insist on going for the kill trying to beat the other 29 guys to it......quiet freaking hilarious I must say........they all dive low leave the 2 or 3 bombers ( or formations) with out any cover so they get nailed by 163s or 262s or the uber climbing La7s etc........
then you have 30 people yelling on Local Range , noone reading the text buffer ( which is sometimes more important than the VOX channel) or even looking at the map.
at this point this is when the few that actually know how to get it done and know what to do say the hell with it and go have fun for them selves because the other gaggle got their heads stuck up where the sun isn't shining!
there is your answer navajoboy
