living is first... shooting is in the top ten tho.

yep... that tiiiing as the clip is ejected is really cool.   Lately there has been a glut of ought six ammo out there that is allready in the clips.   I got like hundreds of the clips now.... don't even care if one gets lost.

beetle... "orgasmic" ?  welllll.... not to tell tales but.... you were all glazed over and incoherant while shooting my handguns now weren't you?   I believe tomato even mentioned that you were unusually frisky after your shooting session.   How long did the enlarged noodle effect fom shooting 44 mags last after you got home?  Till the at least the first foggy day I hope.

yeah, i can really see myself with a gun and walking somewhere to hunt.

its the sad truth but Great Britain in the majority of places is too overcrowded to have guns or hunt for our meat. and more importantly, under populated with wildlife that is edible.

just remember how much more space you have in America.

you're lucky, i wish i had that 'freedom'

that we are nannied, or not, is a different question. I dont feel the need for owning a gun, so i dont feel nannied. there are some people which still belive in intelligence before force as a moral.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Actually, mechanic, there is excellent pheasant shooting close to where we live. This is a photo of Fingest, taken a few summers ago on the way down from Cadmore End. Howe Wood is to the left. Last time I was up here, I even found a discarded shotgun shell right where I stood to take this pic.

One time I set up several targets at about 100 yards, and some idiot showed up and shot them with his M14.  Man was I pissed, but maintained my cool  Did hit a couple milk jugs with my plains rifle though.:)

I think those guys showing up made me a better shot.

zulu seems like a very confused lad.

mechanic... I don't smoke or drink but when my government tells me I can't I feel very much nannied....  I think it is even worse with guns tho since they are taking away a very useful tool..  they are taking away your ability to defend yourself along with hunt or collect or just plink at cans.    Weather you do this things or not.... you  are still being nannied.
