I know what ya mean Redd.

But now that I am  there as you , I find that I relax more. I enjoy it more.

After being off from golf for a few years , I find that now that I am playing more and more , that I have lost my Temper that I had. I am relaxed. I don't get mad. I laugh more than I used to. I enojy everything around me more. The feel of that shot hit just right means more than it used to. Everything ion golf has become BETTER since I have started coming back to the game.

I really did miss it more than I thought I did. I'm glad to be back.

AND...I find that some of my bad habits have gone away.

I'm now , after being back all of 5 months now and alot of playing , and practicing , my HCP is now 4. As of last weekend anyway.:aok

Take some time off. Simple as that. If your in the tower is because you just dont have "get up and go" to do anything in the game.

If you really wanted to you'd fly something different/wierd/not used often... But you dont... Because you would have... And this thread would have never been.

The absolute best thing to do when you feel like that is to just log off for a week, two weeks, month two months... Whatever... When you come back the game will seem alot more "freash". Things' that botherd you before, you will laugh at upon your return. You'll care less about the things' you cared more about before. Basicly you'll just have more fun.

Sitting around trying to find something to do, something different, will just add to your frustrations.

Log on for shorter periods. I go thru the same blahs every year--usually Jan-Feb but there is nothing to take it's place.
Try upping from bases that are being vultched--gets old after a bit but entertaining for awhile.

Hunt LA7 dweebs--theres a few of em that are interesting

That 18th hole was well played by you...even if that 1 shot wasnt so good. I was impressed.

Or that LONG par 5? 3? can you say 3?  :lol

I really did enjoy that day of golf...even if I was so frikin tired I couldnt see straight. You guys were a great group to play with.
We playing this year right?

Word of advice tho.......When we play this year? I wont be quite so tired and only back playing about a month or so.

You and 42 BRING CASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting bored is a luxury .    I never get enough time to even get bored with AH.   Find more real life excitement ..a little goes a long way.  take a few weeks or months off (you'll be amazed how it clears your head if all the trivial stuff.).  And the most important thing ...when you shut the game down and you find you still want more...... you have done it just right :)
